Little River Weir:
The aim of this project is to develop a masterplan for improvement to the reach of the Little River immediately below weir from McLeans Reserve to the bluestone Rothwell bridge on Old Melbourne Road. The masterplan will guide Landcare volunteers working with Council, Melbourne Water and sponsors to implement the plan. The plan will be implemented by members of local community groups including Little River Community Landcare, Council and Melbourne Water over the next 5 – 10 years.
